Exactly. Wonder how singers would feel if they were told they’d be fully subsidized for each album produced. However, the lyrics for each cut would have to be sent to their government “agent” for approval before going into the studio. Further, they would be reimbursed for each album sold, at a rate pre-determined by the government.

When they scream bloody murder, just say - well, that’s what you want for healthcare in this country, isn’t it?

Or how about this - your proposal for funding of your next album requires you to disclose your socio-economic status and racial makeup, which are used to determine whether or not the project goes forward. Talent or market demand be damned.
