re: #681 Taqiyyotomist

I’ve been having problems with that technique in firefox. I’ll Ctrl-F, the field pops up down below in its own toolbar, (unlike IE, which pops up a separate window), but when I begin typing “TAQ” it starts searching an entire thread for the letter T, then for TA, sometimes locking up the program just looking for the letter T. I wish it would wait until I hit the button before starting to search the page.

So what I do, open a new tab, THEN bring up the search bar, then type TAQ (as it beeps at me three times, not found(t), not found(ta), not found(taq)) then go back to the LGF tab, and tell it to search the page.

I wish the designers of these features would use them more, and work out idiocies like that. I don’t need to friggin find ONE LETTER in a document, Mozilla.

Thanks for the hint. I usually start to search, then go do something else while it starts searching.
