And for that matter, the entire idea that health care insurance is “supposed” to be provided by an employer (as opposed to being something you simply purchase on your own, like food and clothing) is a relic of WWII. But I digress.

There are folks willing to work without health care just to get a job, and that employer has a leg up. Letting the market decide, is pure capitalism, and does not exist. If it did, a auto worker would make $10.00/hour with no perks for his unskilled labor.
