Following the crash some months back, the Metro system has sucked. (Well, OK, the crash sucked, too.) They’ve been doing all sorts of checks, maintenance, track closures, and so forth that make the entire system run at practically half-speed, meaning it takes forever to get anywhere. Government efficiency at work.
