The inability to fake empathy is more sociopathic than psychopathic isn’t it? Not that there’s much of a difference when you’re talking about the nominee of a major party for president of the United States.

I’ve never been clear on what the meaningful differences are, so I go with psychopath which seems to be somewhat better defined.

As far as I can tell a sociopath is just a psychopath who either has less control or fewer support mechanisms in place to help insulate him from the effects of his anti-social tendencies. Whatever the case Trump definitely displays the entire range of Cluster B personality disorders.
