Which is naive as shit. I mean I can understand why the college kids that embrace him may believe that but he’s seventy six. He’s old enough to see that the WWC loudly rejected the Great Society explicitly because LBJ wanted to make sure every American regardless of race could enjoy the same fruits that the New Deal got many whites. Maybe he’s spent too much time in Vermont, I don’t know but he should know better than that.
