I’m not asking for Reagan and 1986 (so as not to be Orwellian about it). I’m asking for a return to true conservative values of limited government interference, and respect for traditional American values of hard work which leads one to enjoy one’s hard play. In other words, I’m asking for liberty.

That’s something all Americans like.

So, except for the limited government part, do the vast majority of Democrats.

So your sole viable position is limited government. How did limited government oversight do in regulating banks and financial institutions?
