I would give Bioshock a solid 8.5, maybe a 9. It wasn’t Thief 2 (which is an 11 out of 10) or System Shock 2 (which is a 10) but I thought it was very good, had tremendous art direction, greta writing, and lots of nifty little innovations in the environment hazards and powerups.

Yea and a respawn point two feet from anywhere in the game. Risk = fun and that game had no risk at all it was just a tour through a gorgeous environment. Not to mention I got the PC version and the port from controller to mouse always seems to be terrible.
