How many of them will not get proper therapy? How many of them will never trust another authority figure again? How many of them will think what happened was their own fault? How many will suffer nightmares for years, if not forever? How many will do drugs or drink? How many will find it hard to form lasting relationships? How many will have anger issues that spill over into their personal and professional lives? How many will struggle with depression, feelings of worthlessness, and suicidal ideation?
