I am. Just all of this insanity like this contraception bologna and the CPAC/Vdare story. Then Santorum winning three states (I know the numbers are low compared to the overall population). I’d be fuming if I wasn’t in such poor health but for crying out loud it’s 2012 and we’re having these turn of the century (19th to 20th century) debates. It’s just mind boggling.

The problem is, conservative Christianity is stuck in the Puritan era* as much as radical Islam is stuck in the 7th century. And every time they go on a power trip, we get to have this conversation all over again.

* = the “Puritans” were actually not so pure, if you look at them. But uber-conservative Christians like to adhere to their idealized version.
