Morning BDVM! Upding’d ya because I do believe you’ve hit on the philosophy of the administration (sarc tag notwithstanding).

Of course, these standards will also place a burden on the imports, and on the foreign companies (think Toyota and Nissan) building cars in this country.

I really don’t understand an administration that a) pumps money into the auto companies, b) then forces at least two of them into bankruptcy, while c) screwing the investors and favoring the unions, and d) placing burdens on standards that will cause prices to be higher if and when the auto makers get back into the game.

Oh, wait, I do understand. This is an administration that will make the mistakes of Roosevelt during the Great Depression look like minor glitches.
