Respectfully, international trade is not so much of the problem at all any more, since every other industrial nation already takes climate vastly more seriously than the US does - even China, and that is saying something. We are the ones who should be leading, and because of the GOP, we are the slow kids in the international class who eat glue and stick pencils up our noses.

China takes climate change more seriously than we do? I’m sorry, but I have to call bullshit on that one. Can you demonstrate to me how they’ve shown any initiative whatsoever on the matter?
