Heh. I’d always figured those sort of things were BS.

Whoever invented them probably made a nice chunk of change before people figured out they’d been suckered.

I remember hearing about the ‘water into gasoline’ thing from my father, and he’d heard about when he was a kid - that would’ve been the 1930s. So these urban legends have been around for a long time indeed.
