It used to be a requirement of the faith that they kept a certain amount; it’s no longer “required”, but many of the LDS faith still keep a supply.

Nothing wrong with that, until the Zombie Apocalypse and you’re putting on weight while your neighbors are so weakened by hunger that they can’t fight off the Zombies anymore.

Srsly, though, preparing my parent’s house for an estate sale after my dad’s death, I found all manner of shyt…including old old OLD-ass boxes of that stuff. How sad, I thought, all these people stocking up for the Apocalypse since some time in 1948 and yet, nothing happens.
