How about Utah? The mormon would welcome it - since it fulfills their prophecy of reuniting the tribes, and there is plenty of desert there. Or Nevada? Why not Alaska? Or the dust-bowl between LA and San Francisco? There is plenty of desert in this world. Plenty of unpopulated land to go around. How about Australian Outback? You know I could go on.
