Neural architecture is one thing - the far more important thing however is the influence of the various hormones. And iirc, while present in both genders, the concentrations of certain hormones are certainly different.
There still isn’t that much known about all their influences, but that they influence brain function, e.g. by influenceing the production and uptake of various transmitter substances is certainly undisputed.

Hence - the ‘difference’!
