The Disco Institute posted a whiney article regarding this decision. They’re calling it “political retribution” by Texas evolutionists and a “power-grab sought by the Texas evolution-lobby.” It ends with this paranoid rant:

The “evolution lobby” will have vertical control of the curriculum and indoctrinate the “minds of the next generation?” This is straight out of a 1950s political sci-fi.

Yes, 1950s, but not sci-fi.
