103 in Walnut Creek yesterday - my outside - in the shade - thermometer says 99 right now.

It’s not as bad as yesterday, that’s something. Husband and I turned the electric fan on last night, pointed it at the bed, and just left it running.

A coworker gave me a lift yesterday, and actually turned on the AC. She apologized for the damage to the environment for about a block. I told her I could live with it.
