I’m here for a quick joke…

A couple decided to come up with a test to see what their young son might grow up to be by testing the kinds of things he was attracted to.

The mother and father set up a table. They put an art book (to represent the arts) a Bible (to represent a calling to faith) a small telescope (to represent the sciences) a ten dollar bill (to represent finance) and a cap gun (to represent a military bent). Over the objections of the mother, the father also left a bottle of whiskey.

The parents hid and waited to see what their boy would do when he found the table.

The boy came in to the room and knocked over the telescope collecting the $10. He briefly flipped through the bible only to put it down. After taking a long pull from the bottle of whiskey, the boy saw the cap gun and began playing with it. When the cap went off and made a loud bang, the boy dropped the cap gun. He left the room with the whiskey, the ten, and the bible.

“Dear God!” exclaimed the father. “He’s going to be a Republican!”
