John McCain is a sad, sad shell of what used to be just a bitter old man.

You never know which McCain you’re going to get. Sometimes he can be something of a voice of reason within his increasingly insane party and sometimes he goes along with the kooks. Either way, he’s not the statesman I once thought he was.
