Maybe Holder’s rumblings about persecuting Pres. Bush in that Newsweek article is a reaction to the trouble Cap and Trade is having in the Senate: either go along with economic redistribution or I’ll haul your ass to court over trumped-up charges.

I think it is, but I think it’s more an attempt at distraction than an outright threat. As noted, the CIA thing is already falling apart; it sounds like it’s going to turn out that the Dems doing all the squawking about “secret” CIA activities were thoroughly briefed on them all along, just like Pelosi was completely informed about waterboarding, right down to detailed specifics.
