I’ve been wondering; Did the PUMAS ever really exist in the real world? It seems they were an internet phenomenon but I’m not sure how real they were.

My 2 aunts weren’t PUMAs in name but they voted for McCain this time around primarily because of feelings on how Hillary was treated. Some of their friends did the same, so they tell me. Not sure if that counts per your question, though, and of course this is completely anecdotal.
