It’s just making me really angry and frustrated. When AQ attacked in 2001, most of the world cried for us. With this, some of my fellow Americans, deplorable as they may be, have become more so by behaving precisely like the murder loving assholes who passed out candy in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Completely understand why you feel that way. But the fact they’re behaving like this doesn’t surprise me at all. I mean, after you read comment after comment (on other sites, NOT here) basically threatening the President’s life and that of his children, with racial slurs to boot, the only thing that surprises me is when people actually have a pay a real-world price for hatred and stochastic terrorism.
