I don’t hold any personal judgment against you for enjoying a visit to a casino. However, any rational examination of the economic cost/benefit of casino gambling comes out with a serious negative to society as a whole. The gov’t takes in tax money, a few people get low wage service jobs. A very few casino owners get rich. Mobs launder their money. Politicians are corrupted by mob payoffs. Many of the customers loose money they cannot afford to loose. Their kids’ college funds are squandered. Gambling addictions do indeed destroy families. Many suicides are linked to gambling.

Let’s not argue anymore about this. In general, I like your comments very much. On this topic we will have to disagree.
