Why does she need to attack her opponent? She is fully capable of running on her own record and qualifications.

It’s all part of the pivot to the general election. She knows that the delegate math favors her, so there’s no reason to piss off Bernie supporters - and she might need ‘em in November. So treat Bernie as a non-entity and focus on her own strengths and the GOP weaknesses.
