Wow.

It really, really may be time for a new party. The GOP doesn’t seem salvageable to me; there just seems to be too many crazies and as a result the party leaders who are not insane are, for the most part, too afraid to speak out. And with the direction the GOP is currently headed (it’s pretty obvious, at this point, that minority voting blocks will not be moving towards the GOP in ‘10 and ‘12 and the ones who are currently members of the party may be driven out via the bigotry), irrelevance on the national scene seems on the horizon.
