To be legal in New Mexico, a bicycle needs a bell or a horn. I am the only one who knows this. Even the cops’ bikes are not in compliance. Laws like this, written only to be flouted by the innocently ignorant, are causing the breakdown of our society and can be pointed to as the lead cause of New Mexico’s poor showing in nearly every standard measured by the NFSLTIG.
