Been a UNIX geek since before Linus got fed up with Minix so I know what you mean. Steam has done much to help with gaming and I find that the GIMP is sufficient for my needs but I’m not a super PS hacker either.

There is very little I need from the Windows world. What I lack the most I need to get a DEC Alphastation & Tru64 running… (OpenGenera).

Had a DEC Alpha back in the day. Not only was it a hella powerful workstation, it also made an excellent space heater.
