The Gun (capitalized since he seems to hold it in such reverence) made it possible for you to do so in that manner to begin with, you nitwit. Yes, people kill people, but guns make it all the more possible. And unlike with say a knife, an iron, or other objects with potential lethal effects on a young child when left unattended or used improperly, a gun literally has no other use but to shoot at things.

So yes, user error, but this is why being able to require prospective users to know their shit and safely operate and store these things should be a thing, instead of creeping closer and closer to mandatory gun ownership without question.
