Everything about this current crisis feels and seems contrived, from North Korea testing Trump with missile launches to Trump’s bellicosity and language of hellfire and damnation.

Trump is reactionary. Everyone who deals with him knows this. Everyone in the world has a file on Trump and how to play him like a fiddle. They also know that Trump’s a bully who has to double down and make ever more grandiose threats and promises or else he looks weak.

That’s where he is. And North Korea is pushing his buttons - and Trump has no where else to escalate except by actually ordering a nuclear attack.

This should be worrisome to even the GOP, but they’re entirely fine with this. They’re not questioning Trump, but rather anyone that disagrees with Trump and his threats to North Korea. Throw in the leaks about how North Korea suddenly has the capability to miniaturize their nuclear warheads, and you’ve got all the chairborne rangers demanding war. Or that a nuclear exchange wont be a bad thing…

These fuckers don’t even know what the hell they’re talking about. An accidental nuclear meltdown left vast parts of Japan and Ukraine uninhabitable. A purposeful nuclear exchange would be far worse. Trump’s supporters would be all for this regardless of the consequences.

And the GOP wont lift a finger either. They’re joined at the hip.
