Roseanne Spinoff Starring Sara Gilbert Reportedly in the Works at ABC (E! Online)

I see they may be going the route of TLC and their show “Too Many Kids and Counting.”

Interesting workaround…that is, if Gilbert can sell it after Roseanne killed the “mainline” show.

Frankly, if Gilbert and Carsey-Werner wanted to have a show in the Roseanne-niverse, something like this would have been much less fraught with the danger of Roseanne repeatedly sticking her fucking foot in her mouth, because if Roseanne was reduced to a guest/supporting star on a new spinoff, it wouldn’t matter nearly as much what she did or said off-air.
