They are a protest movement, protesting one thing: there is a black man in their White House and they will do anything, including crashing the economy on purpose, to get him out.

And I’m depressed because they will not pay a price for their behavior. They have manufactured a new economic crisis that could cause the depression that we barely avoided betting that the president will get blamed. And they are probably right to make that bet. The MSM will never tell the truth and the American people aren’t paying attention. The GOP never pays for any of it’s bad behavior. Not starting bullshit wars, driving the economy into the ground and not for the deficits they drove up. I’m sick of it. This country is fucked.

I think that’s a big part of it though not the full story. The moneybags teabagging the tea party don’t care one whit about the color of the D standing in the way of their looting the government.

They’ll let the anxiety brew and stew, sure. Doesn’t take a lot of effort on their part, that’s for sure.
