I left a message with my LA guy.
We just bought some stones from him-Bloodstone and we just got this chrysacolla/azurite/malachite/hematite all kinds of patterns going on in there. Swirls and splotches of blue-green and near black green.

Did you put out a search or Orchid?

Not yet… I want to wait until this Thursdays payday and then see what I could put aside for some Morceni… I don’t want to jump the gun and then get all excited only to turn around and not have the cash.

I have about 1/2 pound of bloodstone, I can get it really cheap here, already slabbed.

I’ve told you that I don’t do any sort of metal smithing, so, those pendant mounts and chains are basic stuff, sterling and metal, super glue for the mount.

I do all the stones by hand, no templates, no dop sticks, freeform them… sometimes a manage to grind through the tip of a finger if I have a really small or thin piece.
