Hi Rightwingconspirator! Yep, that’s been going on for awhile now. There’s another border lake - Lake Amistad - near Del Rio. A couple of friends told me that there’s some of that going on there as well, but I haven’t found any articles on that. (But, it wouldn’t surprise me.)

On the other hand, this is Texas, and one of these days the pirates are going to try this and end up running into a boat full of guys with concealed carry - and a few weapons of their own.

Nasty situation.
