When looking for some opinion on the DC police chief, I found this dopey NRA press release. I had totally forgotten about this particular story:

Yeah because the NRA always respects gun laws and doesn’t mock them at all. So sick of anyone who wants to have a reasonable discussion on this issue being labeled a “gun grabber.” Yeah, because I want background checks on people buying weapons that are designed to kill living things, I’m a “gungrabber.” Okay assholes, that’s rich especially considering your leadership actually wants to ban video games and movies that have violence in them. The NRA’s such a shitty organization. I respect firearm ownership. I do not respect the NRA because their sole purpose is to scare gun-owners by acting like the smallest bit of reasonable action on the issue is somehow analogous to the worst tyranny.
