Chiliās restaurant chain offers free meals to active duty military and veterans on Veterans Day.
When businesses do such things, it is not uncommon for the business to ask to see a military ID card (they arenāt stupid, a lot of people will claim to be active duty or a veteran).
An African-American was kicked out of a Chiliās for being an African-American (after heād received his meal; the manager took it away from him).
Since the video of that went viral on the Internet, Chiliās corporate headquarters apologised and said they would be meeting with the man and his lawyer soon.
The man in question not only had his ID card, but a copy of his DD-214 (discharge papers).
The corporation has said they will āmake it rightā with him. (Betcha the manager doesnāt get fired.)

Given @Chilis shitty food and lousy service, racism and disrespect to veterans might not be the best marketing https://t.co/Pa8vVOyb59
