A BBC reporter that was in attendance at the funerals for the “Peace Ship Activists” made this observation concerning the mood and thought’s in Turkey:

“For Turks, it is not just that civilians died. The raid is seen as an attack on their country’s honour and sovereignty.”

That train of thinking could prove problematic…
