I live in a dry county in Appalachia.
Doesn’t have any effect on the extreme number of drunks in these parts.

My mother comes from a county in KY that only recently (in last 5 years) went wet. Yet they magically always had alcohol around whenever there was a party, picnic, or just a random get together. It was pretty much an open secret that so long as you weren’t causing trouble or trucking in beer by the ton, the county mounties would look the other way.
