No, I don’t think it’s too overblown. This strain of swine flu, IIRC, is an H1N1. The Spanish Flu of 1918 was an H1N1. Considering that the Flu of 1918 killed 40-50 million people worldwide, I’d say that this is cause for concern. Doubly so since it is next door in Mexico.

This is just cause to smoke all of the pork you can, just to make sure that it doesn’t have the swine flu. I did my part yesterday. The pork shoulder was delicious.
