Completely agree, and often voters don’t even need a familiar name— they just vote for the one that belongs to their party.

For a lot of people, they stop weighing and assessing politicians on their individual merits the day they register as either R or D.

Not everyone, obviously— but many.

somehow the vast millions across the center of the spectrum need to get informed and vote…squeeze out far right social conservatives and far left whatever they are…this country is full of Harry Truman dems and Barry Goldwater republicans and they need to get back to the polls…get some sanity back into govt….imo
