ACORN, Voter Fraud, the Subprime Mess and Ties to Barack Obama:

This election cycle, ACORN has attracted the attention of the FBI. The FBI has raided ACORN offices in Nevada and North Carolina. More sweeps of ACORN offices nationwide are expected.

In Nevada, it was discovered that the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys football team are registered to vote. The problem is, none of these football players are known to be legal residents of the state.

Evidence of ACORN’s illegal activities have shown up in Missouri, Connecticut, Wisconson, Ohio, and Indiana. In Indianapolis it appears that a hundred and five percent of the population are registered to vote.

Why is the practice of registering fake people a danger to democracy? Many states do not have voter ID laws. Therefore anyone can show up at the polls claiming to be anyone, in theory at least, and vote. The potential for voter fraud, benefiting Barack Obama, is immense.

Seems this seedy practice is widespread across the nation. It also explains why voter registration fraud has the potential to be dangerous.

About their participation in the sub-prime debacle:

“ACORN recognized very early the opportunity presented by the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) of 1977. As Stanley Kurtz has reported, ACORN proudly touted “affirmative action” lending, and pressured banks to make subprime loans. Madeline Talbott, a Chicago ACORN leader, boasted of “dragging banks kicking and screaming” into dubious loans. And, as Sol Stern reported in City Journal, ACORN also found a remunerative niche as an “adviser” to banks seeking regulatory approval.”

Obama was a lawyer for ACORN back in the mid-1990’s and trained its staff.

A young lawyer, a community organizer himself, sued on behalf of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (Acorn) and won. The young lawyer was Barack Obama. Acorn later invited Obama to train its staff.

That smells to high heaven.
