Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe we’ve ever even heard the Officer Wilson version at all, so it seems disingenuous for them to be claiming that ” Josie,” who supposedly heard it from Wilson’s girlfriend (which would make it hearsay of hearsay, right?) is corroborating anything.

More to the point, which FPD version of events? There’s the one where Brown was a robbery suspect, then he wasn’t, then he was stopped because he was walking in the street, he bum rushed Wilson, he was raging against Wilson on THC, etc.

The police haven’t had a consistent story - it’s “evolving” so to claim that anything is consistent with their version is odd. Wilson has yet to make a public statement (which is his legal right and if he’s got legal representation, they’d probably counsel him to keep quiet, and not say anything incriminating at all, which is to say not to say anything at all).

The only real consistent reporting is from the witnesses who are not connected to FPD, which indicate that Wilson was the aggressor, and that Brown was actively trying to surrender when the fatal shot was fired.
