That’s the thing about future predictions, they generally are extrapolations of the point in time they’re made, relying upon then-existing or theorized advances in science/technology. Like how, back in the 50s and 60s, you see a lot predictions about computers still being hulking monstrosities, as the microprocessor was still years down the line.
