I want to clarify my thought process, because I reread all that I wrote before and I don’t intend to scold.

Russia doesn’t give two figs what we do with things like healthcare, LBGTQ rights, criminal justice reform, etc. They only want the US weakened, and our attention diverted from the plays they are making in their neck of the woods. The stuff we in the US are worried about right now isn’t going to be implemented by Russians, but Republicans. McMullin isn’t arguing for rights to protect the powerless here, he’s arguing that fucking over Americans should be done without regard to foreign influence. I happen to agree wholeheartedly with that statement, but I also agree with Trump that pants go on your legs. Feel me?
