Getting ready to whip up a batch of poutine. (Strange how you can get the right cheese curds in Nebraska’s panhandle.)

My wife made a joke to the clerk when we were checking out of the grocery store today that we might get deported based on “Canadian ethnic food choices.”

We get poutine cheese easily here in the Backwoods. Just have to make an hour roundtrip to the next county to get it at Kroger.
