Magical Balance Fairy…speaking of which, is there an ad by Harry Reid that blatantly lies about Sharron Angle? I’d love to see it.

Good point, in this case I do believe that equivalence applies as a general rule in political candidacies. I’ve looked through PolitiFact. And the worst rating they’ve given Reid on an Angle position is a couple of “Half True”s. and a “barely-True” by some PAC that’s been hammering Angle

When I said it, I was thinking more in a larger scale, that you’re going to see distortions and falsehoods in any sort of political campaign. And I disagree that in this case there was any sort of Magic Balance Fairy going on with my previous posts.

And I could be wrong, but as I look through politifact.com, I don’t see any real pattern of one side or the other having more misrepresentations and lies than the other. which in this case is the best aggregate of information about truthfulness in political ads and statements that I’ve been able to find.

Does anyone know of another site that I could use to cross check and verify?
