You have a good point there. The social aspects continue to be a split-factor for the party, but I suspect the current situation may erode some of that.

I agree with you there. If the RNC would get out there and say something meaningful about the economy and show people they have ideas it would make things a lot easier. We know they can’t DO much with the numbers they’ve got, but they need to start defining their ideas for the economy and make them theirs. Take certain options off Obama’s table so that Republicans get the credit if/when they work. Do it now while the Dems and Obama are committed to the actions they’ve just taken.
