I asked a liberal friend today whether she had any plans for “the Coronation”. In reply, she chatted away cheerfully about attending this ball and that party, without apparently noticing the word I had used.

I asked someone who was gushing about the wonders Obama would produce if they would like to attend the anointment and crowning, those words. All I got back how gloriously uplifting such a spiritual event would be.
