At times, I have subverted my sense of self preservation to act in a way that I believed was the right thing to do. Fortunately, I have usually been vindicated for my actions, sometimes not. A man/woman must live by some set of principles, sometimes it may cost you dearly, but the only thing that really matters is, if you look in the mirror and you like the person you see looking back, you are doing OK. I salute you for having principles and sticking by them.
