Your position is inconsistent, that’s why you’re getting grilled. You claim to oppose the goal (the social silencing of someone), but object only to a certain method of such silencing, but not to the rest of them.

And even then, it’s all so hypocritical.

Write an essay, post on a blog. Speak up all you want unless it’s in ways he doesn’t agree with. It’s all a bunch of passive-aggressive bullshit where people can have an opinion, they just can’t DO anything with that opinion.
